Quilting and bottles and paper!

These are house blocks I made for a swap on one of my Yahoo groups. We have 18 swappers!

This is an altered bottle I made for a challenge on my CDA group. I mod podged tissue on a Crown Royal bottle. A layer of red and a layer of purple. I then glues some old thick lace to it. I embellished with chain and charms and topped it with an old copper piece I had.
top of boxThis is a paper mache box I covered with Graphic 45's  A Secret Garden line. The flowers were a punchout sheet of same papers. I added wooden feet and mod podged it.

A small altoid tin I covered with the same above papers.
inside of tinI added two minis I had to inside and also used mileflore beads with bead caps for feet.

This is a little scene I made using the above papers. I use two of the one with the girl for a stand out effect.

front of boxThis is a box I made from the Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary paper line. I embellished with black beads and black dazzle line stickers. The flowers are cut twice and raised with foam sticky squares.

front side of bookletThis is the little accordian book I made to go inside the box. There is room for pictures, journaling, etc. Also A Ladies Diary line.

Small bottles I made for the second part of the CDA challenge. These bottles range from 1" to 2". I used beads, dazzle sickers, glitters and charms.

More stuff I've been making

This is a doll I made from an Elinor Peace Bailey pattern called 'Anne of the Celtic Mist'. I took a class with Elinor but made another doll. I did make this head so she could paint the face and now I have finally made the rest of the doll.
 The face that Elinor made.
This is a quilt I made for a quilt guild challenge. The theme was holidays and you coulf search for really odd and obscure ones. I found Mad Hatter's Day which was October 6 due the the 10/6 on the hat. I love Alice and got to use some of my Alice fabrics. The back which I don't have a picture of has Tennison vignettes of Alice's adventures.

It has been awhile

This is a picture of some tins I have been working on to sell at my quilt guild's quilt show in April. I used papers and then mod podged them and added a bit of bling. I will be putting some thread and fancy tape measures in the boxes.

These are the tins I did for a swap I am in. The little red one is an actual altoid tin and I mod podged handmade paper to the box.

This is a box I made for Valentines from the Graphic 45 line 'A Place in Time'. I used the month of February. It to has mod podge for protection.

These last pictures are the mini album I made to go inside the Birdsong box. It too is made with the 'Birdsong' line of papers from Graphic 45.

I hope to take pictures of the quilt I made for my guild's challenge. I just have a round of red ric rac to add.

Stuff I have been making

This is a swap I made for Alpha Stamps. The theme was winter wonderland and we had to decorate coasters. I used a lot of bling and a collage sheet from Alpha Stamps.

These are some Stick pins and Valentines I made for a swap on my Scrappinvintage ning group. I added a few fabric roses and bows at the bottom after I took the picture.

I love Graphic 45 papers. I added some paper from the Birdsong line to this small wood dresser. I also added the mirror.
This is a box I covered also using Birdsong papers. The next photo is the inside of the box. It is going to hold the mini album I made using the same papers. I haven't taken pictures of the album yet.

The inside of the box. The next picture is of a piece I made using the Birdsong papers. I made the fans from the papers also.

Christmas album for gift

Here is an album that I made for my daughter for Christmas. I used lots of different papers and embellishments. There are lots of pockets, tags and some fold outs. I made two as I have two daughters.
