Happy New Year (a little late!)

This was the pin I made for the first pin doll alley swap. It is a Chinese New Year dragon. I have mailed him off to my partner.

I think this is my first post of the new year. I hope everyone's year is shaping up to be a good one. I have been doing a few things. I recycled a ready made cloth doll my daughter got for one of her college projects. She took it to class and the students wrote all over it. So I had to paint the whole body. This was after removing som stuffing and making the arms and legs bendable. I also added a knitted yarn wig, the cloths and painted the face. She is a kind of prim doll. I just hated that my daughter was just going to throw the doll in the trash. Here is a pic:

I have been working on Rivkah Rosenfelds Becky doll. It is a cloth doll made to look like an older Arranbee vinyl doll. I am dressing her now but won't show pics until after the challenge is over.
