Apothecary
I followed a link from Alpha Stamps, an online store, that led me to Laura Carson's blog and her Apothecary Event and tutorials on how to make her cabinet and contents. I made lots of bottles and boxes and set them up in a display of boxes I papered. I had a really fun time making everything. I got the labels and lots of the embellishments from the Alpha Satamps online store. Here are pictures of my efforts.
A box of Rotten stuff, a bottle of Death Powder,

My birthday
I had a great birthday yesterday. Here are pictures of what I got with my CRAFT birthday girls group money. Lots of great paper stuff and ribbons and trinkets. I have lots of fun ahead of me!
My sister got me the new Kindle Fire HD! It is so cool. She brought it to me all the way from Illinois. She has been visiting all week. We are having a great time. My hubby got me a tracphone as I don't have a regular cell phone and said I needed something. My car broke down last Sunday and I had to borrow a cell phone to call hubby. I was thinking what if I broke down at night on one of our rural roads. So he got me my piece of mind. My daughter Sam got me new teflon pans I asked for. She also got me an Amazon gift card! :) My daughter Stephanie got me a plant and flowers and a Starbucks gift card. My Mother in Law gave me cash! Always love finding bargins!
I had such a great 61st birthday!!

Queen of Hearts
Here is a doll I made for a CDA challenge in the Vintage studio. It is the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. I had fun doing her, especially her face! I am a real fan of Alice books and want to make more of the characters. I have made the two in the header of my blog already!

Another book or two! LOL
Here are some pictures of more mini album making! This one is a round album with a 6" diameter. I used lots of different papers and embellishments.
Here is a 4" mini I made for a challenge. We were only allowed to use so many pockets, tags and embellishments. We had to use 15 buttons! We had to make the album and hinge the pages.
